Good idea..this might be the time to get a minister. If we go with this I
could probably get Don Richardson, WA4DLR.

If the family is agreeable to the scattering, I’d like to suggest the
Saturday of the CQ WW DX SSB Contest. The biggest one of them all and the
one we took 1st place USA 3 times as Multi-Single and 2nd place
Multi-Multi - ‘83, ‘84, ‘85, 86. RonnieWU4G

I talked with Bob's neighbor Barry. Bob's remains were cremated at Norman
Funeral Home in Goochland. I called both Bob's home and cell numbers (I
understand Eric is using Bob's cell) but got no answers. I left messages.
I called Billy Norman from the funeral home. Bob's ashes are still there,
not yet picked up by the family. No obituary was published because the
family was not sure what they were going to do! Mr. Norman and also Barry
said that there was some thought about someone climbing up a ham radio
tower and scattering his ashes to the wind. If that is so are there any
volunteers. If so done there should be some sort of SHORT memorial service
at that time, at least that's my thoughts.
That's all I know. I hope to see you all tomorrow 09/01 2018.
