[CVCC] CVCC wins Local Club Gavel in 2016 ARRL 160 contest

 We had 5 logs totaling a net of 500,589 points.  Second place was 482,160 just 18,329 behind us.  
The 5 logs were:
1. W4ML @ W4HZ Ops W4HZ, W4PM, K4OSO2. KG4W3. N3UA4. W4PM5. WU4G
W4ML@ W4HZ multi op placed 10th in the nation.  I'd say Jonathan's station plays pretty well!
Congrats to the participants for your efforts on behalf of the club.  
We need to keep this club going as W4MYA said.  Let each get from the club whatever pleases him or her.We are the CVCC (Central Virginia Contest, DX, and Ham Radio Social Club).  I see nothing wrong with that!I would request that those who don't care for contests bite the bullet a bit for a couple of hours or so and help with the 2017 ARRL 160 and 10 meter contests.  The competition is getting closer as our interest and participation falls off!
