A year or so ago a nearby lightning strike took out the serial port in my computer.  The USB ports are all ok but my Ten Tec Omni VII has only a serial port so I cannot connect it to my computer.  I have an old Belkin F5U409 adapter but it will not work with Windows 10.  That was confirmed today in an online chat with Belkin.


Can someone point me to an adapter that would work for me?

Thanks for the replies.  It appears the FTDI chipset is the answer.  I found one on Amazon.com for $11.  It will arrive Friday.  If it doesn't work I'm not out too much!

 We had 5 logs totaling a net of 500,589 points.? Second place was 482,160 just 18,329 behind us.? 
The 5 logs were:
1. W4ML @ W4HZ Ops W4HZ, W4PM, K4OSO2. KG4W3. N3UA4. W4PM5. WU4G
W4ML@ W4HZ?multi op placed 10th in the nation.? I'd say Jonathan's station plays pretty well!
Congrats to the participants?for your efforts on behalf of the club.? 
We need to keep this club going as W4MYA said.? Let each get from the club whatever pleases him or her.We are the CVCC (Central Virginia Contest, DX, and Ham Radio Social Club).? I see nothing wrong with that!I would request that those who don't?care for?contests bite the bullet a bit for a couple of hours or so?and help with the 2017 ARRL 160 and 10 meter contests.? The competition is getting closer as our interest and participation falls off!
