[CVCC] Summer Hiatus, Field Day

Hello All,

Here I am in the dark after the latest t-storm. Thanks to Dennis for
reminding me of the following .

First of all it was good seeing all of you at the annual picnic.  Thanks to
all who contributed delicious dishes for us to consume. Let me give a big
shout out to Puck and Judy for again allowing the CVCC to meet at their
home.

I would like to also thank resident photographer Puck for his photo
collection of the event.

Also I would like to thank Sejo for his cinematic record of the event.  The
video was very sharp and clear and the sound track was great.

ARRL FIELD DAY  will again be a joint effort by the RATS, the RARC and the
VCU ARC and using their call sign W4VCU. The event will be held at the
Laurel Park Recreation Area. Setup will begin at 10:30 on Saturday.  If you
are interested in their 4A event please get more details at WWW. RATS.ORG .

Finally we decided to have a hiatus during the summer months. So our next
meeting will be on September 6th. I believe that I will have a program at
that time but the subject will be announced later.

Be sure to forward your DX Totals to Ronnie. If you need help with an
antenna or other project please let me or another member know.
