[CVCC] Va QSO Plaque Sponsorship for 2017

I agree with Milt, at least to some extent.
Donating to Dxpeditions is great if you have the money and like to see your 
 call in the list of donors.
 
We have been trying, hoping, etcc to grow the club and we have not had lots 
 of luck.  With that thought in mind, donating to something which is 
"local"  of sorts is more beneficial
.  
I would like to offer a suggestion and that is get a table and Frostfest  
and really do it up with lots of pictures---ours and others---really talk up  
contesting with a loop video showing working hams (they don't have to be  
us). 
Maybe, just maybe we could get a few ore more ???//  younger hams  excited. 
 Do up something ??? exciting.  Maybe a forum too.  This  is all local and 
our best chance.

The Sterling Park ARC has solicited the CVCC again  regarding sponsorship of
the 2017 Multiple Operator Multiple Transmitter  Plaque which we have
historically sponsored.  The cost is $60.  I  don't think we are 
overburdened
with expenses so what I would like to hear  is a consensus via e-mail from
members: YES-lets sponsor the plaque OR NO  lets don't sponsor the plaque. I
would like to receive your responses YEA  or NAY no later than December 16th
at which time I will ask the Treasurer  to forward a check to SPARK for our
support in this endeavor if indicated  by your responses.
