Received word this evening via WL2K and W1WTG that Jim passed away about 1445 EST this afternoon.  This must have happened shortly after I spoke with Linda's daughter.

There will be a celebration of Jim's life - details will be in the obituary, and I will pass them on as I hear them.

Our loss of a good friend and the hobby's loss of one of the greats.

Please keep Linda and the family in your thoughts.
