[CVCC] Memorial Gift for Marie Hughes

Good Morning All,

I am not sure if you are aware of it but several weeks ago Marie Hughes
(wife of CVCC member Ed Hughes, KG4W) passed away. I sent a sympathy card
on behalf of the CVCC to Marie's family.

It has also been suggested that the CVCC make a memorial donation to the
ARRL Spectrum Defense Fund in honor of Marie much as we did for AC Frame.
So far, we have already received a few donations from members for this
endeavor.

Therefore, with this e-mail I would like to encourage any CVCC members who
would like to participate in this rememberance  to please send a check in
the amount of your donation payable to CVCC to the club treasurer.  Here is
his information:

*Donations will be collected between today, Wednesday,  August 5, 2015
through Friday, August 15, 2015*.  At that time a CVCC check will be cut to
the ARRL Spectrum Defense Fund.

Although Marie did not hold an amateur radio license, she was one of the
many spouses that support the amateur radio hobby in other ways.
