Give the entire amount to the Masonic Home. I would not contribute if you're 
just going to fatten the club's account. I would want to know that my 
donation went to the Home in A.C.'s name. If the club needs money ask for 
additional donations and don't do it just to fatten the Club.

Hello All,



Milton K4OSO has advised in regard to the memorial donation for W4HJ from
the CVCC to the Masonic Home that donations have now reached the $320.00
mark.  Thank you to all who donated in rememberance of our friend.



Since the donations have now gone well past the $100 Milton has made the
following comment, suggestion and observation regarding these funds:



Thank you for your donation to the AC Frame W4HJ Memorial gift to the
Masonic Home.  The good news is the donations have been many, and generous
(one as high as $50).  As a result, the fund is now at $320.  Given the
original intent raise enough money to fund a $100 gift to the Masonic Home,
I believe we, as donors, should decide how to dispense with the current
fund.  My opinion is we can take any of three (3) directions in this regard.
We can:

1. Donate $100 as was originally intended and return the overage to the
donating members.
2. Donate the entire $320 or,
3. Donate $100 and use the remaining money to strengthen the treasury.



As President I do not wish to take away from friends of AC their willingness
to support this endeavor.  I believe that the amount received should be
donated to the Masonic Home as originally planned even though it exceeded
the $100 target.  Also it was decided to collect received donations until
May 31st, the day of the club cookout at the cookout.  My thought is to
continue the collection until May 31st and donate the total amount to the
Masonic Home.
