Hi Milton,

Please forward this to CVCC members. Apparently my reflector address is
fouled up.

Tnx.

Jerry, KJ4IT

Hello All,

In my view, donations were made to honor the memory of our friend AC Frame.
And as luck would have it, the donations have exceeded the initial
suggestion.

I believe that the funds collected were given by various members for the
intent of honoring AC.

Therefore I suggest that all funds collected by Saturday, May 31st be
donated to the Masonic Home for the original purpose of remembering AC.

Milton, please make sure this is addressed correctly for the CVCC reflector.

Anyone wishing to opt out by the 31st may do so.

Please contact me if there are any questions.

73, Jerry

Subject: W4HJ Gift Donations --

Jerry,
To-date, I have received pledges of $320 and have actually received $140 in
checks.
Its a good problem to have but, a question needs to be answered.

What to do with $320?

Given: We originally set out to raise enough money to fund a $100
gift to the Masonic Home in AC's name and,
        Given: We have, or soon will have, $320 in the donation box;

There are several choices from which to choose. We could:

1. Donate $100 as was originally intended and return the overage to the
donating members.
2. Donate the entire $320.
3. Donate $100 and use the remaining money to strengthen the treasury.

My opinion is this question should be answered by the donating members.
In that regard, here is a suggested wording for a polling of the donors:

Thank you for your donation to the AC Frame W4HJ Memorial gift to the
Masonic Home. The good news is the donations have been many, and generous
(one as high as $50). As a result, the fund is now at $320. Given the
original intent raise enough money to fund a $100 gift to the Masonic Home,
I believe we, as donors, should decide how to dispense with the current
fund. My opinion is we can take any of three (3) directions in this regard.
We can:

1. Donate $100 as was originally intended and return the overage to the
donating members.
2. Donate the entire $320 or,
3. Donate $100 and use the remaining money to strengthen the treasury.

Please let me know your pleasure. I will suggest to Jerry that we go with
the option receiving the greatest number of votes.
