Thanks for all the well wishes and encouraging words.  I started feeling a little tightness in my chest and shortness of breath when I worked in the yard or exercised at the gym so my wife insisted  I visit our friend a cardiologist.  

Well here I am in the hospital awaiting a open heart coronary artery bypass operation on Monday morning.  I have at least three major blockages and perhaps one or two more.  The doctors say that data from the cardiac catheration and the echo cardiogram tests indicate my heart muscle looks good with no indication of damage so my prognosis is good.  

I must admit thinking about the details of the operation is a bit stressful at
best, but hearing from others who recently have been through this ordeal is very encouraging.

Please do not ignoree any symptions of heart problems you may have in the future.  Look it up on the internet and get educated.  Even though I had no severe pain, just a slight tightness in the chest along with shortness of breath I was a heart attack waiting to happen.  Do not ignore any such signs.
