Soapbox : Nice chance to test my new inverted L antenna. I was very 
satisfied with the performance. I was able to work 8
Caribbean countries (C6, FM, HI, KP2, KP4, KV4, V3 & ZF) and EW3EW in 
zone 16. I was pleased to net  39 U.S. states and 7
Canadian provinces. Hours operated were 12. I worked the following club 
members, KG4W, N4DJ, W4DR, W4HZ. There may

have been others that I did not recognize.

Now I need to get ready for the ARRL DX phone contest next weekend. I 
just received a certificate for First Place Single Operator
Low power in the 2011 ARRL DX Contest for South Eastern Region. I wasn't 
even aware I was in the running!! Didn't know I could
win any awards stateside! I have a wall full of certificates and plaques 
for overseas operations.  Now I'm motivated to try for it again!
