          Soapbox : I always like to make more QSOs than the previous year. This year I exceeded my goal by eight QSO's.  
Snow started falling Sunday afternoon. As I was working DX on 20 meters I could look out over the rig and see the snow covering the ground. I was distracted by two Blue Birds and a RedHeaded Woodpecker just outside the window. The colors seemed unusually bright against the white snow. 
That was a great way to end the contest!
