Thank you all for inquiring to my plans.
I have no thoughts on giving up ham radio. Maintaining towers are a real
chore especially with no one in my local area to help. My dreams of big
towers are over but in the end I hope to install some 40-50 footers.
Much easier to climb and the bucket truck will reach this height with no
problems.
I am now a member of the Caribbean Contesting Consortium or better known
as Signal Point "PJ2T" and will be there for several major contest. The
upcoming CQWW CW we have a large group to operate Multi-Multi. I will
also continue to return to my favorite island of Bermuda and operate as
VP9I. For the 2012 ARRL DX SSB I have another group to operate TI5N.
Next week Pam and I will vacation in Kure Beach, NC in which I will
operate from FM13 on 6 meters a very rare grid. So ham radio is very
much in my life and will always continue to be.
