Didn't get to play any until Saturday night. Thought the band sounded the
best I have ever heard from here despite my constant S9 corona noise from
the high voltage lines. I heard and worked Europe for the first time from
here!
Had a nice visit to MYA's Saturday morning. He encouraged me to add 2 more
radials to my INV-L, so when I got home Saturday afternoon that was my
project after I got a few other chores cleaned up. Finished up just about
dark. What a difference! Doubled the radials and more than doubled my
score! I think I worked everything I could copy with only 3 or 4
exceptions. Even the 2 Europe stations picked me out on 1st calls with
others calling. In fact one of them was not copying the 3 or 4 stations
that were calling and he just kept calling CQ. When I dropped my call in,
he came right back. I also heard CA for the first time here but he was S&P
so I never got him. My best in the states was WY, again a first from here.
Never did find you W, sri. I remember last year my ears got tired of
listening to the noise and I finally just gave up after a while. Last
night I was having so much fun working everything I could hear, that I
didn't want to quit. My best hour was 43 Q's all S&P. Finally had to call
it a night a 1:30 AM. Thanks for Q's !
QSOs S/C
Total 204 46 / 5 Score : 21,573 SOLP

I had 64 dupes , caught some guys tried to work me third time they
probably did not use contest log so were not knowing who they worked
already.Worked 1060 USA , 54 Canada, 165 DX .Missed SDG and NWT.First
night was bad , no EUs , only a few West Coast. The 2nd night was fun
digging out all those weak signals at the noise level. Thanks Bob for
