[CVCC] CVCC Field Day 2010?

Field Day is a important part of Amateur Radio and we shouldn't allow
this event to pass by without club activity. Although I don't offer
much as the chairman living away from Richmond I will volunteer to take
over Duke's position as scheduling coordinator.

Format and location worked for me although I wasn't able to spend a lot
of time I enjoyed every minute. We don't have to operate a particular
category to enjoy Field Day. Perhaps this year we could invite the Boy
Scouts and help them earned the Radio Merit Badge? Setup a GOTA station
and help Elmer new hams in operating. I'm sure they're many ideas we
could do for Field Day.

I'll gladly offer a complete station for use, choose either a Icom 756
Pro II, Elecraft K2(loaded), or Yaesu FT990(loaded), plus a microHAM
computer and keying interface, and XP laptop w/N1MM.

So there's station #1, who's bringing the coax and antenna?
73,
Kyle

Please let me know by return e-mail your feelings on Field Day.
1) Should we participate in FD 2010 as a club?
2) If so, will you serve on the committee ?
3) If you serve on the committee will you serve as chairman of the
committee
4) If we have field day what format should it have?
a) Same as last year?
b) Different location?
c) Different entry class?
d) Other changes?
