I worked a number of CVCCer's in this one:
W4MYA, WK4Y, K2WK, KG4W, WA4PGM, and W4HJ. Did I miss any? Was Kyle QRP in this one. If so he must have a monster antenna because he was lighting up my S-meter big time!
I'm anxious to hear how the score turned out at Jonathan's place and whether we managed to blow up any equipment! When I left on Saturday morning in the log were 690 Q's in 57 W/VE areas and 55 countries and a points total at 256,928 and nothing had broken yet! Jonathan said this was the highest country total he had seen in a 160 contest from his station and the numbers could only get bigger once Roy fired up Saturday evening and worked a bunch more.
Thanks Jonathan for the warm hospitality and allowing us to use your fine station. It was great fun!
Here's what I did from home - fantastic conditions!

Low Noise RX antenna - NONE!
I split my time equally between the W4ML at W4HZ multi-op as the first night
operator and my home station on the second night. This way I could add more
points to the club score. The better antennas (Tx & Rx) and higher power at
W4ML yielded a greater number of multipliers but I actually made a few more Q's
at home the second night due the the greatly improved conditions. The fantastic
opening to EU allowed me to actually run EU stations which has never occured
before in my experience in 160 contests at my station and I was even able to
work a JA and a UA0 station for the first time ever on 160!
Thanks for the Q's. CU in this one next year.
73,
Puck W4PM
