I don't think it's necessary to send me all the logs, but you should edit your cabrillo log to conform to mine which is below if you don't want to get error messages back from the contest robot. Logs due in by 1600UTC Jan 5, 2010. Sent to 160meter at arrl.org with just your callsign as the subject and no message - just attach your log which should be entitled your call dot log - in my case W4PM.LOG

START-OF-LOG: 2.0 (whatever your program puts here is OK)
ARRL-SECTION: VA (the section you sent - all ours are VA)
CALLSIGN: W4PM (the callsign you used in the contest)
CLUB: CENTRAL VIRGINIA CONTEST CLUB (do it like this - not just CVCC)
CONTEST: ARRL-160 (the contest name)
CATEGORY-ASSISTED: ASSISTED (must be either ASSISTED OR NON-ASSISTED)
CATEGORY-BAND: 160M (this contest was 160 only)
CATEGORY-MODE: CW (the mode was CW only for this contest)
CATEGORY-OPERATOR: SINGLE-OP (must be either SINGLE-OP or MULTI-ONE)
CATEGORY-POWER: HIGH (must be either HIGH, LOW, or QRP)
CATEGORY-STATION: FIXED (either FIXED, SCHOOL, or MOBILE - all ours were FIXED)
CATEGORY-TRANSMITTER: ONE (must be ONE for this contest)
CLAIMED-SCORE: 130741
OPERATORS: W4PM @W4PM
NAME: Puck Motley
ADDRESS: 11121 Linderwood Drive
ADDRESS: Mechanicsville, VA 23116
ADDRESS: USA
EMAIL: hmmjr at comcast.net
CREATED-BY: N1MM Logger V9.10.2 (whatever your program puts here is OK)

Notice the seven "CATEGORY" lines. N1MM puts this info on one line and the robot will always give you an error message unless it gets the seven lines.

Of course don't put my comments that are in brackets "()" in your log!

The OPERATOR line designates who the operators were and what station was used
WK4Y log would be: W4KY W4HZ W4PM @W4HZ
W1ZA log woul be : NW4V WIZA @W1ZA
N3UA log would be: N3UA @W4DR

Here's what you get back if you have done it right:

"2009 ARRL 160 Meter Contest

    Category-Operator: SINGLE-OP
 Category-Transmitter: ONE

        Reported QSOs: 712
       Confirmation #: 4086261.arrl-160

Thank you for entering the contest and submitting your log in Cabrillo
format. Please review the information listed above and, if necessary,
resubmit the log to make any corrections.

73.

ARRL Contest Branch"

Notice I was put in Multi-operator, Single Thranmitter which is where all assisted entries end up, but unless you put the category lines as I did you get errors. :-)

73,
Puck W4PM

P.S. - Doesn't the club secretary need to send in a list of CVCC members? I'm not sure of that procedure.

I wonder if it would be a good idea for us all to forward our Cabrillo logs to Puck so that he can check them for appropriate credits to the club and any other issues, then he can release them as a group to ARRL.
