Here's a message from the PVRC reflector asking about Bill Nighman. I sent Dave a response. If any of you have memories of Bill you might want to share them with Dave.

Subject: [PVRC] Does anyone know my Elmer? W4ZSH/W4XR
To: "PVRC Posts" <pvrc at mailman.qth.net>
With all of this talking of Novice Nostalgia and whatnots, my Elmer from
1974 was:
Bill Nighman W4ZSH (now apparently a SK and also held W4XR)
At the time, we lived about 2 miles from each other in Richmond, Virginia.
Bill was an avid CW man so it dawned on me some of you all might know the
name. He ran a Drake T4/R4 station in 1974. I lost track of him when I went
off to college later that year and moved away from Richmond. I still have a
homebrew antenna transmatch that he gave to me when I passed my Novice exam.
My tribute to Bill Nighman is on my QRZ page at http://www.qrz.com/k4eet if
you want to read it. Please contact me privately if you know/knew Bill
Nighman and can tell me whatever happened to him post 1974.
Tnx es 73,
Dave Hamm K4EET
