I took 11 hours of time that I could muster from the pursuit of anxiety
and worked the Virginia QSO party. I was limited to 40 meters because
20-meters was not open to the Florida panhandle. I did however get a
20-meter opening on Sunday and made 6 contacts.I worked only CW and I was
not overwhelmed with activity. I heard the Virginia CW operators were
retiring and moving to South Florida. I was able to work 46 counties 19 of
which I got from mobile Kyle,WA4PGM. It seemed the other mobiles spent
more time on sideband. It gave me something to do while getting drunk and
I did get 15 new counties on 80-meters. If you missed the party, you will
survive.
