   Time to start making plans for two big club gatherings next month.  The
first event is the annual Fowlfest on August 16 at W3YOZ in Churchton, MD. 
A separate notice will be sent shortly with all of the details.  The
following Saturday, August 23, is NR4M's open house in the heart of the
Rappahannock Chapter.  Steve and his crew have been busy putting together a
beautiful multi-operator station on a 68 acre QTH west of Fredericksburg,
VA.  Here's your chance to check it out and get some free food (menu TBD but
something like BBQ or hamburgers & brats)!  You won't be disappointed plus
if you're a car buff, I'm sure Steve would be happy to give you a peek at
his collection both old and new.  Please RSVP to me (k4zw at comcast.net) so I
can give Steve a head count for the food.

   NR4M is located on Gov. Almond Road in Locust Grove, VA if you want to
plug it into your GPS. You can't miss the towers!  For those looking at a
map, take Rt.3 West from I-95 in Fredericksburg 13 miles to a left on Rt. 20
for about 4.5 miles to a right on Zoar Road, at the Exxon station.  Gov. 
Almond Road is less than .5 miles on the right.
