Hope everyone is getting geared up for CQ160 this weekend. Look for me as
VP9I in hopes of a repeat win from last year. This contest and the trip to
Bermuda is always a challenge. This time of year Bermuda is getting hammered
with gale force winds, forecast for this weekend is strong gales with
periods of heavy rain. Last year I forgot all about the camera being able to
take movies so I'll tried to get some of the excitement on video this time.
It's pure excitement being about 600' off the ocean with 50+ mph winds,
everything is howling from the winds and you can taste the salt while
standing in the front door. CQ 160 !!
