[CVCC] Planner for the 2008 ARRL DX Phone Contest

Greetings!

 

Believe it or not, it's time to begin planning our strategy for the 2008
ARRL DX Phone Contest.

 

This year, it begins Saturday March 1 at 0000 & goes until Sunday March 2 at
2400.

 

Last years winner in the Local Club category won with a score of 2,022,342
& the second place score was 1,578,399.

 

The Contest Committee will meet in January to discuss a plan for this effort
& will report to you shortly thereafter.

 

F.Y.I., W4MYA accomplished 1,372,00 last year as a Multi/2 for PVRC. Great
job Bob!!!! We'll need to really hustle to have a chance at the gavel this
year, so sweep aside as many hours as you can so we can man the 4 M/S
stations while getting S/OP's to fill in. We can have 10 logs in this one
also.

 

Multi stations are: W1ZA, W4DR, W4FEG & W4HZ.
