Sorry Guys but I never got going in the 160m test. I put a dipole antenna up (full 260') and checked out the SWR at less than 2:1 over about 50khz. This was after I had to search for and unpack the SWR bridge, replace batteries, etc.
I was sent out on Friday morning to get a rather involved "care package" for a friend of my wife who just had a knee replacement. I greatly underestimated the time it would take for me to be "contest ready". I couldn't find my tuner and never got the N1MM keyer configured on my new 'puter. I downloaded paper logs from ARRL thinking I might work with a hand paddle. Too many other interruptions. I heard well on the antenna Friday night, including an HI8 (I believe it as), but with so many station shortcomings, I punted.
73, John
