[CVCC] A notable ham on the today show

Did anybody catch the section on I think the today show about K3TUP John 
Kanzius?
He's an retired broadcast engineer without a college degree. John has a 
promising new cancer treatment that involves low frequency rf.

I don't know if it will make it through all the fda testing and such but it 
must show some promise. It's also kind of nice to know that the "nuts and 
bolts" type of guy can make a difference. He'll probably make a few bucks 
along the way too.

On a different note, I'm headed out for vacation in September. Does anybody 
have an 817 & antenna or similar setup that I could borrow? I had planned on 
buying one but the funds just haven't been there.
