Raoul, Island. Kermadecs  
Date:  10 October 2006
 
The Microlite Penguins DXpedition team is now active from Raoul Island
in the Kermadecs using the callsign ZL8R.  Activity will last for
about 8 or 9 days, and will cover as many bands and modes as possible.
 
The expedition team is: EI6FR, HB9ASZ, K9ZO, N6MZ, N0TT, VK6DXI, W7EW
and 9V1YC
 
QSL manager is VE3XN.
 
Many thanks to Icom America for sponsoring six IC-7000's for this
DXpedition. Thanks also to the New Zealand Department of Conservation
(DoC) and the crew of the R/V Braveheart.
 
The DXpedition team would also like to say thanks in advance to all
those individuals and clubs who send in donations with their
QSL's. Your generous and continued support of expeditions like this
helps keep the magic of DX alive.
