PVRC 60th Anniversary REUNION ON-THE-AIR Celebration
2006 Rules
1. Eligibility: All members of PVRC worldwide (Once a member, always a
member!) for internal PVRC competition; all amateurs for general
competition.
2. Object: To contact as many other PVRC members and Promote PVRC goodwill
by contacting as many other amateurs around the world as possible, using all
5 HF bands from 10 - 80 meters.
3. Date: Always the first weekend in June. The 2006 reunion will be June 3
and 4.
4. Suggested Frequencies (Surrounding 25 khz)
CW: 3547, 7047, 14047, 21047, & 28047 kHz.
Phone: 3.847, 7.247, 14.247, 21.247, 28.447.0
RTTY: 3.585, 7.038, 14.085, 21.085 and 28.085.
5. Three contest periods: June 3: 1400Z - 1800Z, June 4: 0000Z - 0500Z and
2200Z - 0300Z. Check for activity on 10 & 15 meters at the beginning of
each hour.
6. Event exchange: Your Name, the year you became a PVRC Member, and your
State, (or "DC" - Yes! DC counts as a multiplier!), (ARRL) Canadian
Province, (ARRL) Country. For those outside PVRC: Your name and State,
(ARRL) Province or (ARRL) Country. Non-PVRC members work only PVRC
members.

WX3B: CQ PVRC DE WX3B
K4ZW: K4ZW
WX3B: K4ZW Jim MD 1998
K4ZW: Ken VA 1990
WX3B: TU WX3B
No serial numbers!
7. Valid contact: Completed two-way QSOs on any of the bands listed above .
No crossband or crossmode QSOs.
8. Scoring: Two points for each completed QSO with a PVRC member, one point
for non-members. Total multiplier is the sum of all states, DC, Canadian
provinces, and DXCC countries worked. (AK and HI count as a state or a
country, not both.). Non-PVRC members do NOT count for multiplier credit.
As a special bonus in celebration of our 60th year as a club, multipliers DO
count once for each band, and you are encouraged to work PVRC members on as
many band/modes as possible.
Maritime mobile contacts count only for QSO points; not a multiplier.
If the club call W3GRF (or other designated calls) is active and sends a
state of "PVRC" then "PVRC" is an additional multiplier. The "PVRC"
Multiplier counts once per band.
10. Reunion call: CQ PVRC
Please send your final score (Call, Q's, Mult, Score) within 30 days to the
Secretary, Anthony Brooks 212 Ocala Rd, Glade Hill VA 24092 or to
wm3t at wm3t.com (e-mail preferred).
No log need be submitted. A check sheet is available in several different
formats on the PVRC web site. PVRC retains the right to request log
details if verification of your claimed score is necessary.
