Aves Island, YX0A.
Members of the Asociation of Radioamateurs of Venezuela (ARV) and the Grupo 
DX Caracas
have announced the Aves Island DXpedition 2006. The team expects to depart 
from the port
of La Guaira, from the Venezuelan mainland, on April 17, 2006 and hope to be 
on the air
April 19th. The team expects to be operating through two weekends. They will 
be operating
as YX0A and plan to be QRV on 6 through 160 meters on CW and SSB. Special 
emphasis will be
made on the low bands. Operating frequencies and QSL route will be announced 
shortly.
