My 2 cents worth.

If there are still folks out there that connect via RF and they support the
club, I think we need to support them and keep the RF ports active.

Are there users on both 2M and 440? 

If there are only users on 440, do away with the 2M equipment.
If there are 2M users, can they hit W4FEG's digi and come in on 440?
Again maybe can eliminate the 2M frequency.

Will have to bite the bullet on another computer. Do we need a wizbang
3ghz machine or can we use some of the 500mhz machines and wait a few
microseconds for our spots? Or are there other issues that are involved 
with the computer?
If the older machines are OK, maybe get two and program them both to
have a spare, if and when the first ones goes, plug up the second and 
start looking for another.

Maybe have to invest in 3 or 4 FOT's if they are needed to keep spares on
hand until they are all blown up.

Maybe that is what it will take to keep the system operational?
