Hi all,

The QSL.Net site is running dangerously low on funds. They estimate that without donations, they will only be able to operate 2 more months. If this site is a resource for you, they could use a donation. I have no financial affiliation with this site, but i feel they have been a major service to ham radio and also to the CVCC (we have web space there). I sent them a personal donation the other day.

Now, for the radio stuff: Conditions have been wierd! Sunspot numbers have been over 200, but the "A" and "K" numbers have also been high. There have been a lot of solar flares and conditions are still funny today, with the SFI at 168 and the "K" at 18. In recent days I worked 3V8CB for a new BMC (Band Mode Country) on 17m SSB, 8Q7ZZ on 17 CW and 20 SSB, TY9F on 17 CW and S9SS on 17 CW. The DX is out there if you need it!

73, John
