Zoom or some other teleconferencing software should be seriously 
considered  as we may be in this situation for a long time.  I just 
attended a virtual meeting on Tuesday by the Westport Astronimical 
Society which worked very well and was done on youtube.  I don't know 
the specifics but it worked well. There were about 35 attendees.  There 
is another group I know that uses zoom which works fine.

I'm sorry, are you asking me how to email a group? How are you doing email now? 

I really don't fully understand the question.  You send an email to the group and it goes to everyone on the group. There are hundreds on both groups, which is why it is frustrating when people just hit "reply all" which should have never been invented in the first place. 

Just send emails to:
gnarc at googlegroups.com For the Norwalk group or
ctsara at mailman.qth.net for the Stamford group.  

You have to be registered with either group of course to send emails.
