Any interest by hams with cars, HT’s and hopefully APRS to help with
recovery, should the balloon land on land.

Everyone
Our plan is to launch another monkey balloon this Saturday
morning Nov 23 from the Discovery Museum.
(dependent upon weather of course). This launch is open
to the public, and the media has been invited!
We are in need of hams with cars, HT’s and hopefully APRS to
help with recovery, should the balloon land on land.
If it splashes down, the recovery will hopefully be handled
by the Coast Guard.
If you would like to volunteer for land recovery, then please
show up at the museum that morning.
We will begin at 8 am and our checklists, etc take about 1 to
1.5 hours to launch.
If you show up anytime before launch, you can watch the
testing and liftoff too!
So that we can plan, please RSVP if you can show and assist
with recovery.
Thank you
GaryM
