Hello all,
Here's an offer to all extended SARA and GNARC members (who are current in their dues of course!).
I have some fiberglass quad element spreaders I need to get rid of shortly, and would like to find thema good home instead of throwing them out.
We believe the quad that they came off of was a Cubex, but I can't be 100% sure of that.
There are a few elements that are in very good shape that could be used to replace broken spreaders off yourexisting quad.   So, if you are interested in seeing whether this stock is compatible with your antenna, you 
may want to bring along the broken element you are trying to replace for an up close and personal comparison.
If you find a couple of the pristine ones compatible to your needs and want them, that will cost you one six pack of microbrewery beer.  (No Meisterbrau or Genesee please!)

 But most of them are in less than pristine shape, but still suitable for use as small spreaders used to separate the elements of folded 
dipoles or coaxial dipoles.
There are also several that can be re-sized to use as elements for a small light-duty portable beam for say six or two meters, or severalfox hunting antenna.  In fact, you could probably equip 2-3 fox hunt beams to put together a of club teams, if you are interested.

I will give an armload of those away for a can of Foster's Lager or a 24 Oz Heineken!
