Reposting to SARA and FARA, forgot on the first email!
A bit off topic, but there are electrical circuits and Arduinos involved,
lol. There are a few hams that help with the annual holiday train show at
the Wilton Historical Society on Route 7 in Wilton. We have G, O, S, HO, N,
Lego and Brio layouts, something for everyone. The show runs from the day
after Thanksgiving to Martin Luther King Day.
Since I have talked to many hams who are train buffs, I wanted to make sure
you all knew that we welcome new "trainmen" to help run the show. If
interested, please contact me. You can sign up for shifts as short as 2
hours, it's a lot of fun. If not, but you know folks who like train shows
and have little kids, make sure to tell them about it. It is a great train
show with accessories controlled by buttons the kids can press.
www.wiltonhistorical.org <http://www.wiltonhistorical.org> If you have
your own trains, you might be able to run them on our layouts.
Periodically the society sells trains they no longer use, or can't use.
There is large collection of modern new in-the-box Lionel cars that will be
sold. If you know anyone interested, please have them contact me off list
and I can forward the pictures. Prices will be very aggressive for a local
sale so we don't have to do Ebay.
Thanks and 73,
Paul WB2JVB
