Volunteers needed for the MS Ride - June 11 this year.

There is an issue about them possibly wanting a background check for people
who will be riding as passengers in the vans.  It's not clear that is true
- it may be the local office misinterpreting the requirements.  Please sign
up and then if it comes down at the end to them wanting a background check
you can decide whether or not you want to.

Hello again all,

As you may know, the MS Bike Ride is going to be June 11th, and we're going
to be needing volunteers. This years route is going to be very different
from prior years, and it's starting from Dinosaur BBQ in Stamford. There
will also be no 100 mile route, so we should be done sooner than prior
years.

According to the organizer, we'll need 5 people to cover rest stops, and 4
people riding in SAG vehicles. New for this year: As of right now anyone
driving OR riding as a passenger in a SAG vehicle will need to undergo a
background check. I don't have a lot of information about what they ask
for, but it seems there is still some confusion about who needs to be
checked. I hope to have more information soon (like times...), but for now
if anyone is available please let me know.
