Hi All:

I expect to hold the GNARC Thrursday evening 75M net tomorrow evening at 8:30 on 3843 or thereabouts as usual.

Please stop by and say hello!

Gossip:
For the past few days I've been running my Icom IC-706MkIIG in the
car instead of my usual 2/440 FM/D-Star rig. I've worked a few folks
on a 6-meter repeater in central MA (WC1MA/R on Mt. Wachussetts) on
53.31MHz, which seems to dominate the 6M FM scene up this way. I've
also heard some stations on SSB at 50.125MHz, the calling frequency,
but thus far none has heard me well enough to get my call right.
Considering that I'm running a Larsen vertical which looks more like
a full-size 5/8 wave 2 meter whip I suppose I shouldn't be surprised,
but in past using a 6M Hamstick I was able to work quite a few
stations. I'll keep trying. It's weird not running D-Star though!
