Good Morning GNARC Members and Friends.

I wanted to thank everyone for coming out last night and attending the
April GNARC meeting.  I would also like to thank Tom Frenaye K1KI for the
very informative program on the ARRL, especially the part on the new LF
bands.  I am planning on looking into getting on the new bands and
experimenting as soon as possible.  I was also very interested in the part
about expanding Technician Class privileges on HF. I think it is a great
idea.

In addition, I want to thank Tom for Appointing me as an Official DXCC Card
Checker.  That was a real surprise. Thank you Tom.

The Field Day and Special Events discussion was very good last night and I
urge everyone (especially our new Hams) to get involved and contact Sam
NV1P or Lisa KC1YL if you can help.  We have a core membership that does a
lot and I'd like to get more people involved

Next month our program will be on *"Test equipment that you can get on
eBay"* by Steve K1RF.  Steve will talk about items that he has bought in
the past few years.

*Reminder:* We will be open Saturday 4/15/2017 from 0900-1200, as usual,
and we'd love to see you there!
