Thanks for the feedback.  (No pun intended).   Mark Marcus
Tuner may not have liked the ladder line at 450 ohms.  What did you use for a Balun?    I really have no expertise here.  Just interested.  Thx.

ladder line.  I used it for a few days and I was not happy with it. For
some reason it would not tune on all bands with the tuner.

So I built a 160m end fed Zepp, 265' long (the last 25 feet are bent
downwards due to the length)  It tunes on all bands. Below is a link to a
diagram of the antenna.

I am sticking with the end fed Zepp.  It seems to work the best for me.
