for the taking...

GNARC is fortunate to have, among its members, people with a wide 
variety of interests and skills. As we look forward to the future year, 
we hope to exploit this network of technical resources in recruiting, 
training and assisting Amateur Radio Operators as well as supporting 
CERT & ARES by providing equipment and skilled operators for emergency 
communications services when called upon.

GNARC supports individual advancement by encouraging new Hams and 
helping them to obtain both entry level and higher class Amateur Radio 
Licenses.We have many Amateur Radio Operators with half a century of 
experience, who are the backbone of our organization.They get great 
satisfaction in mentoring new Hams.

GNARC’s Communication Center is open on two evenings and on Saturday 
morning, as a place for our members and guests to collaborate, enjoy 
conversation, learn new skills, and work DX.
We recently participated in Winter Field Day, and will take part in 
traditional Field day and contesting, as well as Islands on The Air, 
National Parks on The Air, and other events.

GNARC is dedicated to community service and increasing the awareness of 
Amateur Radio among the general public by participating in the 
communications support of Civic events such as bicycle or foot races.

All GNARC members have a responsibility to promote a favorable 
impression of the Amateur Radio Service and enjoyment of Amateur Radio 
for all.We call upon all of our members to take an active part in Club 
events.A small effort on the part of each Club member can become a force 
multiplier, and play a very important role.
