All of a sudden there are idiots that will fall for this nonsense. Actually they have been with always. Many of these claims actually preceded Obama and many are the result of Bush policies. The greatest danger to this country is the ignorance that these claims show.  When I was a freshman I had to read Thucydides. At that time I thought it was the most soporific book ever written. Recently I have come to appreciate it. Athens fell to Sparta in part because the Athenians listened to soothsayers and demagogues . Trump is the intellectual reincarnation of one of those demagogues.. We are at a point where the application of reason is our and the world's only hope of salvation.  Global warming is real and we have to transition away from fossil fuel as soon as possible. We have kicked the can down the road to the edge of a cliff. Trump appears to have no understanding of macroeconomics. How he got his degree is a mystery and may account for his reluctance to release his transcript. He is a textbook example of a narcissistic sociopath.
