WECA needs radio operators for two events on Sunday May 1.  Some of us have
worked these events in the past and they're pretty good.  If nothing else
you would get a chance to play with one of WECA's comms trucks.

Happy Spring WECA Public Service Volunteers!

Our BIG Day this spring is *Sunday, May 1* at 2 locations. We have the *March
of Dimes Walk in  White Plains* and the *Westchester Mental Health
Association Walk in Yorktown*. This is our only opportunity this spring to
practice our skills and to show the community what we do. We were very
successful last year in getting training for both new and
experienced Hams. I am looking into some new opportunities, but as of now
our next public service event will be in September when we will have many!
Mark your calendars now!

*We could use some more Hams!!* If you are able to participate, please let
me know. New Hams are encouraged to participate, NO RADIO NEEDED!! We have
some to borrow. Some of you come every year, but have not confirmed this
year. I hope to hear from you soon!!
