[CTSARA] Question

Good Day All:
I have a problem/question. My HF Diploe G5RV(full size) where the coax goes into the pl259 at the end of the ladder line broke. In plain terms, the pl259 came off the coax. Do I put another pl259 on the coax end, or replace the coax? The coax is rg5x and it goes from the ladder line so239 to a MFJ (I know might fine junk) window pane. I am using the window pane to bring all my antennas into my second floor shack. It has a couple double sided so239's and a wing nut ground lug. It sits at the bottom of the shacks window and feeds my 10M, 2M/440 and HF leads into the room. Now back to the main question. Should I replace the coax with another length of rg5x pre made from HRO or change it to LMR 400. I think I have both. Thanks to all that reply Pro or Con.  73's.
