Saturday...

The National Weather Service in New York has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow...which is in effect from 6 am Friday to
2 am EDT Saturday.

* Locations...New York City...northeast New Jersey...the lower
 Hudson Valley...southern Connecticut...and Long Island.

* Hazards...snow.

* Accumulations...2 to 4 inches with locally higher amounts.

* Timing...starting the Friday morning commute and continuing
 through Friday evening. 

* Impacts...hazardous travel conditions due to reduced
 visbilities and snow covered roads.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow...sleet...or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while
driving.
