I just purchased a Raspberry Pi, I believe it arrives today in the mail. I have no experience specifically with the Raspberry Pi or audio streaming apps, but it runs Linux and I'm a Linux admin by trade. I would be more than happy offer whatever help I can.
Just contact me directly at my email address.
Regards,
David

--------------------------------
I am looking for someone that can help me build my first Raspberry Pi
project.
I run several websites with streaming audio StamfordFireRadio.com and
ScanGreenwich.com from The911Center.com . These sites have Laptop or full
size PC's as the audio client feeding the Icecast 2 server for
distribution. The laptops usually run some flavor of Windows and
frequently crash. I found this article on how to build a stand alone audio
client (see the link below)

If there is anyone who is fluent in Raspberry Pi that would be able to
assist, please contact me. I don't even know where to start? LOL
