[CTSARA] Joint SARA-GNARC Holiday Party

The leadership of SARA and the leadership of GNARC have decided to have a
joint holiday party.

This will take the form of SARA joining with GNARC at the holiday party
that they have each year at the Laurel Social Club in Norwalk (2nd Weds of
the December).  It's quite a nice party, with appetizers, hot food
(typically soup, meat, and pasta), salad, and dessert, plus door prizes and
Toy's famous raffles, plus a DJ and music with dancing (yes, bring your
significant others).

In past years, the price has been $35 per person and it is expected that it
will be a similar price this, although that's not definite yet.

I hope all SARA members will consider attending.  Please contact me if you
think you might attend so that we can start getting an idea of numbers.

P.S.  We expect to have a brief SARA meeting on our regularly scheduled
date (first Thurs in Dec) for the Nominating Committee's presentation of
candidates (more later).
