That is really sad. It happened to me and my daughter. She lost many photos.

A quick web search shows Computer Supercenter  103 Mason St Greenwich could
help with disk recovery.

I  have Raid 1 on my  desktop, use carbonite to back that up, and also have
a Hitachi external drive doing a mirror image as well.
My network drive is also used for a copy of photos.

 can any one help me?  i have a problem   i have an external hard drive  and
the power  port of it is good      the drive is self is bad
