Message from Paul Lourd. This sounds like fun.

While not radio related, many hams also have an interest in model railroads!
The Wilton Historical Society presents the Great Holiday Train Show every
year, running from Thanksgiving weekend through January.
We are looking for volunteer trainmen! We have one very large G gauge
double loop layout, two O gauge layouts, a fully professionally built HO
layout depicting old Wilton and new this year a small American Flyer
layout. Smaller Ho and N gauge layouts are also on site. We do live
wireless video from the engine of the G gauge locomotive to a TV screen
also.
If you are interested in running trains (you can even bring your own to
test/try) and would like to volunteer for a few shifts, please contact me.
The shifts are usually 3 hours long, on fri, sat, sun. It is a lot of fun
and the kids who visit have a blast. Basically you keep an eye on the
layouts, fix derailments and have fun!
We are currently in the setup and wiring mode, and can also use help with
that.
If interested, please contact me off list at paul.lourd at yahoo dot com.
Thanks and 73
Paul
