Starting this Tuesday, 12/10, there will be a weekly CERT net at 8pm on the
GNARC 2m repeater.

CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) units are active in most of
the surrounding towns.  Stamford, New Canaan, Wilton, Fairfield, Westport,
and Weston have CERT teams. Region 1 also includes several other towns with
CERT teams, but are likely too far away for this net.

The purpose of the net is to facilitate communications testing between
towns, give newer or inactive CERT hams a chance to get on the air in a
stress free way, and encourage more ham activity in general!

All hams are welcome to check-in as well.
