The Zlombol Rally is a yearly event in northern Europe in which cars
designed and manufactured in the Eastern Bloc during the Cold War have to
drive a couple of thousand kilometers through Poland, Lithuania, Latvia,
Estonia, Finland and finally through Norway to reach the legendary Nordkapp
(the North Cape of far far far northern Norway). They're not
organized/professional teams and they don't have any mechanic backups - if
the cars break down enroute (which they do frequently), they have to hope
that local mechanics can figure out how to fix them. The entire event is a
fundraiser for local charities.

They have a special events station HF7BOL who is in one of the vehicles on
the route. He operates from the car (when he can get the car's electrical
system to work) and also sets up every night and operates from wherever
they happen to be at the time. I just worked him on 20 meters.
