We've all wondered -- or dreaded -- what we sound like on the repeater.
Now you can hear what you sound like.
We've added a function to let you record up to 20 seconds of your
transmission and then play it back to you over the air. To hear what you
sound like, do the following:
1. Key your transmitter and send DTMF A9001
2. Unkey
3. The repeater will say "Ready"
4. Once it says "Ready", you have four seconds to key up and transmit
something. Remember -- 20 seconds max. You do NOT have to wait for the
courtesy tone before you key up and transmit
5. When you unkey, the repeater will play back what it recorded
What you recorded is automatically erased, so don't worry. This works on
both the 2 and the 440.
Note: you have to do the A9001 thing, it is not recording normal QSOs, it
is only recording for up to 20 seconds after you do the A9001 thing and it
says "Ready"
