The speaker was Larry Reed AB1JC describing the project he is part of to send a gyro stabilized color camera to 100,000 feet by balloon using APRS for tracking, amateur TV, and other ham modes for telemetry. A few of us heard his talk at the GBARC meeting in January and it is really interesting. By the way, they're doing this under the auspices of the Discovery Museum in Bridgeport and they'll be launching from here in Fairfield County.
